"One idea per slide" is advice that helps the speaker. Not your audience.

Matt Abrahams is myth-busting one of the most repeated presentation rules. Slides aren't a structure for you; they're a tool for the person watching. A good slide does exactly one of three things: simplifies something complex, amplifies something important, or clarifies something confusing.

If your slide doesn't do any of those three things? Cut it. If an idea lands without a visual? Skip the slide entirely.
